SAM KAPALA

As a die-hard northern New Englander, I am happiest outside in any weather and any season.  By day, I am a dad, a carpenter, and a ski coach, and many of my photos are taken from ski or hiking trails, or commuting to and from job sites, or exploring the coast with my baby son on my back.  My goal as a photographer is straightforward: I want to capture familiar scenes simply and truthfully, in natural light and with minimal editing.  I hope you'll find photos in these galleries that remind you of a trip to the coast of Maine, or a hike in the White Mountains, or perhaps an evening spent with good friends.

If you like what you see here, I'd love to hear from you!
